Agreement for Shipping guidelines
1. All shipped orders will be done via Fedex Freight, not UPS. Due to
this, someone needs to be at home to receive and sign for the order
when the delivery takes place.
2. Please give us all contact numbers to insure that Fedex can reach
you to let you know when your delivery will be delivered.
3. The driver is not responsible for bringing cabinets inside your
home. Generally speaking they are responsible for getting it to your
address and unloading it from their truck. This does vary from area
to area, but it is best to have someone available to help unload and
bring your cabinet across your threshold.
4. Inspect your cabinet before signing for it. Once you sign the
receipt it becomes a legal document that says you accepted the product
in acceptable condition. If possible, open the carton before signing
for it. If the packaging appears to be torn, dented or otherwise
damaged and you are concerned about hidden damage, note that on the
delivery receipt. Remember that once you have signed for your delivery
it is your responsibility for damage.
5. Save all packaging materials and paperwork until you have thoroughly
inspected the items and are satisfied with their condition.
6. Contact Tracey's Tables immediately to report any damage. As the
shipper we are the ones who need to file all claims.
7. Replacement of damaged items is the normal course of action. This
will occur within two weeks of notification of damage.
8. All shipped orders are to be prepaid. When you place your order you
will be given a total amount due and payment method will be discussed.
In order to ensure your satisfaction, we need your cooperation with
these guidelines.
